About Splash Swim School
Splash Swim School is a privately owned Hawke’s Bay family business run by Brendan and Teenica Grant, along with their daughters Charlotte, Isabella (Izzy) and Alice. Operating a “family and community centered” swim school is our prime objective.It is our hope that every child learns the enjoyment and love of water while learning to swim. Swimming is a life skill!.
Splash Swim School is a purpose-built facility that provides a safe environment for our local communities to learn to swim. With lessons from 6 months of age, alongside an ability-based six level Learn to Swim program with all levels incorporating water safety skills, it is designed to teach and challenge young swimmers of all levels and abilities.
At Splash we are committed to providing a leading programme with highly trained teachers and small class sizes. We keep our class sizes small, structured, and fun to ensure we continue to meet every child’s individual development and needs.
Splash Swim School operates with a state-of-the-art filtration system. The pool water is run through Ultraviolet (UV) light rays as well as being salt chlorinated. The UV systems works by emitting a high intensity light rays that destroys algae, bacteria, and viruses, as well as some chlorine-resistant parasites and can therefore let Splash Swim School pool operate at a lower chlorine level.
We are excited to continue the legacy of Learn to Swim in Hawkes Bay in a safe, quiet, purpose-built facility.
